bit easier when you use the library's Digital Microform Scanner, a computer, and
Capture Perfect software. Instead of trying to read the microfilm on the screen
or printing it out page by page, you can now save many pages of microform
documents - e-mail them to colleagues, save to a jump drive or 3 1/2 inch disc.
students, faculty and staff may also save them on their Y drives.
- Save documents as jpeg, bmp, tiff or pdf files.
- Apply OCR to the documents to make them searchable.
