EndNote:  Importing Citations from JSTOR


You can search JSTOR and save citations to articles of interest directly into EndNote.
  1. If you have not already done so, create the EndNote Library (database) in which you want to import the references. 
  2. Enter your search in JSTOR.
  3. You can save a reference at any point by clicking on Export this Citation.  This is available on the result list and when you are reading the article.
  4. Export citations. Select EndNote.  This directly exports the citations into EndNote.
  5. Choose OPEN.
  6. Select the library or database you want to put them in.
  7. Click OPEN.

Your references are now in your EndNote library (database).
Check your citations to make sure they were imported correctly.
