When it's NOT in the Library....
BOOKS:
MOBIUS links 60 Missouri academic libraries so that you can search
their catalogs at one time. You can borrow books from these libraries,
requesting them online. A delivery service brings what you've ordered
generally within 3-4 working days. You will be notified by Truman e-mail
when the books arrive. Pick up and return books at the Library's
Circulation Desk (University ID required). You can keep them for 21-days
with two 21-day renewals if not needed elsewhere. You can renew them
online through My Library Account. There is no charge for this service.
(NOTE: You cannot order articles through MOBIUS.)
WorldCat. When MOBIUS doesn't have what you need, you can try
interlibrary loan. WorldCat contains more than 53 million records for
material in libraries in the United States and around the world. You can
order online. Pick up and return books at the Library's Circulation Desk
(University ID required). These items come in the mail and therefore
take longer to arrive than MOBIUS books. Loan periods are set by the
lending library. To renew, you must contact the Interlibrary Loan
Office. There is no charge for this service. (You cannot order
articles through WorldCat.)
