AMERICA 1935-1946. Microfiche Cabinet 3 Drawer 1
A series of 87,000 captions photographs of the Farm Security Administration and
the Office of War Information. These numerous photographs are divided into
six main geographical regions. Within each region the photographs are
grouped under twelve main subject headings and a further 1,3000 subheadings.
The microfiche are filmed in the order they are stored in the Library of
Congress. The index, housed on top of the cabinet containing the microfiche is
in two parts. The first part lists the headings in subject order.
The second part is alphabetical by subheading.

A photographic documents of art in Germany. The index contains 500,000
images of art, architecture and artifacts of Germany, available in a portable
file of 5,000 black and white microfiche. Comprehensive views of smaller
sculptures and decorated capitals, in addition to the two-dimensional works such
as stained glass prove to be a valuable asset to artists. It is a great
advantage to have all the identifying information directly under each image.
The printed index gives users a key to this archive of graphics on German art
and architecture.
