Using Films on Demand videos in Blackboard
Films on Demand is a web-based digital video delivery service that provides access to thousands of high-quality educational videos in dozens of subject areas. You can search for Films on Demand videos in TruSearch, the Library Catalog and the Films on Demand database.
After finding a video or segment you want to add to your Blackboard course, click Share.
On the Share To screen, choose Embed/Link and then copy the LTI link.
Log into your Blackboard course and navigate to the section where you want to add the film and choose Web Link under Build Content
At the next screen, paste the LTI link from Films on Demand into the URL field.
You are done. You have provided a link to the educational film from Films
on Demand in your Blackboard course. Students can watch it without having
to use https://view.truman.edu or the
VPN.
