Scope: The Historic American Buildings Survey is contained
on 36 microfiches, reproduced from photographs located in the Prints and
Photographs Division of the Library of Congress. It is comprised of
photographs and pages of written information produced by the Historic American
Buildings Survey and transmitted to the Library of Congress between 1933 and
1979, for the state of Missouri.
The Historic American Buildings Survey Part II, Missouri is a
supplement that includes material received by the Library of Congress from 1980
through December 1988. There are 136 fiche in this collection.
How to Search the Collection: Arrangement is alphabetical by the nearest
significant place (to a particular building) within each county.
Guides: There is no print guide to the collection. Part II contains an index on fiche 132-136.
