  • Databases  Tab Searches EBSCOhost Academic Search Elite to tell you which magazines, newspapers and journals have published articles on the topics you want.

    • ERIC    ERIC is a comprehensive database containing abstracts of journal articles, reports, curriculum guides, conference proceedings, etc. It covers all areas of education at all age and grade levels. 

    • MedLine - Abstracted articles from 19,000 medical journals. Also free to the public from the National Library of Medicine's PubMedGoPubMed searches the same databases as MedLine and PubMed but adds a neat index for concept searching.

    • Google Search  - Search Google for government sites that have to do with health. Use site:gov

  • Journals  Tab  Provides a search box for specific magazine, newspaper or journal titles.  Tells you where the periodical article is and if it is electronic or in print.    The example below you would type American Journal of Nursing  into the Journal Tab box.

Interlibrary Loan - Books and articles come in 3-4 working days.  Books can be picked up that the Library Circulation desk.  Articles are sent electronically to
your Truman Email account.  Both books and articles are free.
