Photocopiers

Most of the photocopiers are located in the Browsing Area on the west side of the atrium on first floor. This area includes 5 regular copiers (5 cents per page), 1 color photocopier (50 cents per page), and 2 change machines.

An additional copier is located in the Periodicals Department on the north end of first floor; and one on both second and third floors at the south ends.

Copiers makes both single- and double-sided copies.

Computers

There are 15 public computers in the lobby with Internet access. These workstations are primarily for persons looking for for information in the library's online catalog, databases, etc. One of these is wheelchair accessible. Most of them have a dot matrix printer attached. Users may print at no charge.

Transparencies

Black and white transparencies can be made on a coin-op copier located in the Media Library (second floor) for a cost of 25 cents per transparency.

Typewriter

The Library has two electric typewriters available for public use. One is located on first floor near the Reference Desk, the other is in the Curriculum Library on second floor.

Microform Readers & Printers

Located on the south side of the Periodicals office. The library has 11 microfilm readers, 6 microfiche readers, and 5 film/fiche printers available during the library's open hours. Paper copies from microfilm/fiche are 10 cents a page. The library also has an ImageMouse which allows you to view, scan, digitize and store or print filmed images from a desktop computer.

        Paper cutter
        3-hole punch

Services for Handicapped Visitors

Assistive Technology Lab --- Provides several adaptive devices which can help visually impaired users gain access to print and electronic library materials. Located on second floor in the Media Library on the west side of the atrium.

Public Internet workstation --- One on first floor, accessible by wheelchair.

Elevators --- There are two elevators which provide access to all floors.
