Virtual tour of the Library
Parking is available for guests in the lot on the west side of the
Library. Two 30-minute spaces are available to anyone.
Visitors who plan to stay longer should obtain a permit from Parking
Services (660-785-7400).
Borrowing policies
Students and faculty/staff from other Missouri colleges/universities
that are members of MOBIUS may use their college ID's to check out
materials. They are subject to all MOBIUS regulations.
Other guests may obtain Library cards.
Building services
The Library provides Internet access, photocopiers, microform Reader/Printers, services for handicapped visitors, etc.

Genealogy and local history
--- The Library has many county histories, cemetery records, etc.
The librarians in the
Special Collections
Department can assist you with your research.
Kirksville newspapers
--- Historic Kirksville newspapers are available on microfilm.
Government documents --- Pickler Memorial Library is a
depository for both federal and state documents. The Library serves
this Congressional District by providing access to government
publications. Most of our documents are listed in the
Library Catalog and many
of them can be checked out for two weeks. We also provide
access to documents in electronic format. Many useful
resources are listed on the
Library's Web site.
School visits
We encourage area school teachers to bring students to the
Library to do research. We will work with you to make your
visit as
convenient as possible. Reference librarians can give tours, talk to your classes, and demonstrate how to use our databases
and other information resources. Call the Reference Desk at

PLUS
Pickler Library User Service (PLUS) is an interlibrary loan
service designed especially for schools in Northeast Missouri.
Member schools may request books and copies of articles to help
students fill their research needs. An annual membership fee based
on student enrollment is required. Contact

information.
Pickler Memorial Library is a smoke-free building.
Food and drink are prohibited in the Library.
The Student
Union Building is nearby where you can purchase meals, snacks, etc.
