Newspapers and professional magazines are good sources for the most recent job ads. Check the Current Newspaper stands and Current Periodical area in the Library for the most recent issues.  Current issues of many newspapers and periodicals are available for free on the Web, and the links of Classifieds, Job Hunter, or a similar link will take you to pages with job ads.  Examples of those Web sites are:

KANSAS CITY STAR  (http://www.kcstar.com)

ST LOUIS POST DISPATCH (http://www.stltoday.com)

There are some web sites collecting newspaper and periodical homepages.  From there you can find hundreds of newspapers and periodicals on the Web.  Some of them are:

News Link  (http://newslink.org/)

Newspaper Archive (http://metalab.unc.edu/slanews/internet/archives.html)

(Hint: Newspaper’s Sunday editions normally have more job ads than other
            days.)
