- Pickler Library items can be recalled by another user, shortening the normal checkout period
- Pickler Library materials have up to 5 renewals
- Course Reserve items have shorter checkout periods (2hr, 4hr, 24hr, 72hr)
- MOBIUS books have a 40 day checkout (no renewals); MOBIUS videos have a 10 day checkout (no renewals)
- Interlibrary Loan due dates are set by the lending library (request renewal via the ILL Office)

Overdue Fines
- Recalled items – $1.00 per day
- Reserve material – 60 cents per hour
- Study room keys – $10.00 per hour
- Video/DVD – $1.00 per day
- All other material is 15 cents per day
Lost/Damaged Materials**
Truman State University lost/damaged materials will be paid at the following rate.
An additional $25 non-refundable billing fee will also be assessed.

**Willful removal, mutiliation, defacement, or marking of library materials is prohibited and subject to disciplinary action under the Student Conduct Code (SCC 8.050.2) and to prosecution under Missouri law (RSMo 570.210)
Payment
Library fines or fees can be paid in person or by phone. The Library accepts cash, checks, credit/debt cards ($5.00 minimum) and eChecks. Please call the Library Service Desk at (660) 785-4533 if you have questions.
How to Sign Into Your Library Account
A PIN is needed to Sign into your account. If you don’t have a PIN yet (or have forgotten it) you can set a new one here: Need a new PIN?
When prompted for your “Barcode”, enter your 9-digit Banner ID number (do not add tsu). The system will send you an email with a link to set your new PIN. If you have not received the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder or Truman Barracuda Spam. Please note, PINs must be 6 digits.

How to Renew
Once you are signed in to your Library Account, click the My Bookshelf link at the top of the page. You can also sign in when searching in the Library Catalog
The My Bookshelf screen will have tabs for Holds, Checkouts, and Fees. Choose Checkouts to display your items. Each item will show the due date and a Renew link.

Portable DVD/CD drives
Checkout one of our portable external drives that will play Blu-rays, DVDs, and CDs. Just hook it up to your computer with the attached USB cable.
If you have any trouble playing DVDs, you may need to install the VLC player from Video LAN: https://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Phone chargers and adapters
The Library has several octopus style phone chargers that work with a variety of Apple and Android devices.
We also have different HDMI adapters for connecting to the collaborative tables with screen sharing capabilities.
