Scope
CoreFiche: Poetry in Granger provides microfiche access to approximately 140,000 poems by over 20,000 authors listed in Granger’s Index to Poetry. Some of these titles are difficult to obtain or are no longer in print. CoreFiche is an on-going publishing enterprise in microform with additions being published in phases. Pickler Memorial Library has Phase I of CoreFiche: Poetry in Granger.
How to search the collection
CoreFiche: Poetry in Granger contains titles listed in Granger’s Index to Poetry. The collection can be searched by author, title, first line and translator, using the print guide, Master Index to Poetry (Reference PN 1022 M37 1992). The fiche number indicated in the index directs you to the appropriate fiche containing the information you need. The collection will soon be cataloged in Truman’s Library Catalog and be searchable by keyword, author and title within the catalog. The microfiche in the cabinet is arranged alphabetically by title.
