Scope
This is a collection of supplementary documents to the documents printed in Documents on British Policy Overseas (General Collection DA 566.7 A19 v. 1-7). The collection contains correspondence, memos, instructions on the execution of British foreign policy, reports of business transactions and proceedings.

How to search the collection
The best way to find documents in the microfiche collection is to use the print volumes located in the General Collection DA 566.7 A19. The print volumes have: chapter summaries for each document; the complete printed documents; subject indexes. (The subject index for volume 1 is in volume 2.) Within each chapter of the print documents, the documents are arranged chronologically. At the end of most of the print documents you will find the microfiche documents referred to as “Calendars”. To find the microfiche documents, note the series, volume, and number for the print document. Use these numbers to find the microfiche document. The microfiche document number will be handwritten at the top of each microfiche document. Pickler Memorial Library only has Series I of this title.
