Remodeling Underway
Pardon the noise as work begins on the Doug and Diane Villhard Innovation Lab located at the north end of the first floor. The installation of the walls is slated to be completed by January 27 with necessary electrical and networking wiring to follow.
Over the spring semester, the area will be transformed to include:
- Collaborative Space: a flexible area to support cooperative research and interdisciplinary projects with campus and off-site partners.
- Design Lab: to promote experimentation through low-stakes prototyping.
- Two Studio Rooms: for video conferencing and podcast recording
As furniture and equipment become available, students will be welcome to use the space. A full launch of the Doug and Diane Villhard Innovation Lab will happen in Fall 2023.
