Scope
This microcard collection is a collection of “scarce, curious, and entertaining pamphlets and tracts, as well in manuscript as in print, found in the late Earl of Oxford’s library; interspersed with historical, political, and critical notes.” This collection, originally published in 1744-46, contains pamphlets selected and edited by William Oldys. A 10-volume set containing most of the printed text is also available in the library’s General Collection DA 300 H2902 1965.
