Scope

This collection contains the official list of historic properties recognized by the Federal Government as worthy of preservation for its architecture, its cultural importance, or as an archaeological site. Information on each property is arranged by state, county, and vicinity. ” This edition includes properties determined eligible for inclusion in the National Register through December 1982.” “Reproduces the Inventory-nomination forms which contain detailed information about each property, photographs, and maps.” (Truman’s Library Catalog)
