Oral Arguments of the Supreme Court

Scope
Contains the transcribed argument of each case argued before the Supreme Court, beginning with the Warren Court (1953-54) and continuing through 2000.
The Oral Arguments of the Supreme Court are available full text on the Supreme Court website from 2000-present. There are also some audio files of oral arguments available at http://www.oyez.org/oyez/portlet/featuredAudio/ .
How to search the collection
The microfiche are filed by docket number. There is a notebook with Case Name Indexes. Each entry gives the docket number, year of the case and microfiche number by which it is filed in the drawer.
The Case Name Indexes for 1988/89-1999/2000 are printed on blue index cards (11 x 15 cm). They are filed with the microfiche which they index. They give an alphabetical listing of case names with their appropriate docket numbers.
