How to search the collection
This microfilm collection is a supplement to Princeton University Latin American Pamphlet Collection and offers a number of publications that provide access to perspectives on and information from groups that have been marginalized for political, social or geographical reasons. The ephemera (in this collection) deal primarily with events of the past twenty years and comprise government reports, conference proceedings, statistical studies, research center working papers, legal documents, literary magazines and journals, newspapers, political campaign documents, speeches, national election materials, labor union tracts, publications of human rights organizations, and mission statements of religious groups. Pickler Memorial Library owns 22 reels out of a total of 76 in Supplement VI. One part of Supplement VI deals specifically with indigenous issues in Peru. The other part from Supplement VI deals with the Socioeconomic conditions in Mexico while a third part deals with the human and civil rights in Mexico. All titles in this collection are represented in Truman’s Library Catalog and can be located by keyword, title, author and subject.

This collection is part of several collections covering Latin American History owned by Pickler Memorial Library. Other collections include the Princeton University Latin American Pamphlet Collection, North American Congress on Latin America (NACLA) Archive of Latin Americana, and the Yale University collection of Latin American manuscripts. To find primary source material on a particular country from all of these collections in Truman’s library catalog, use the following Advanced Keyword search as an example: (yale or princeton or north american congress) and microform and bolivia. (Any other country name can be substituted for Bolivia.) This keyword search will pull up all the primary sources in these collections for the particular country that you are searching.
